Oliver had his one month check up today. He's healthy and growing good! He lucked out with no shots. There's a new immunization schedule apparently, so next month he'll get one. He almost tipped the scale to 10 pounds with a kicking foot but they took the lower weight instead. Doc moved his legs around to check his hip action, looked in his ears and mouth, checked his soft spot and palpated his tummy. We talked about how often he ate and how much he slept. Doc is somewhat more concerned with my amount of sleep right now than with O's. So he gave me some suggestions and an article he really likes. So E and I will try a few things: a set bed time, and once we set him down at night, we don't pick him up. Comfort and talk to him but he stays in his basket. So no more sleeping on me! Whew. Hurray for growth AND for more sleep! You'll have to tell us all about these techniques when we're there so we can memorize them and go around repeating them to ourselves for the next 2.5 months....
