New Digs

So here's the four walls we live in. After the paint all over (except bathroom) and carpet in the bedroom and upstairs its breathable.
We're still getting all those little projects done. But it's slowly shaping up. We have lots of plans. We're going to gut the kitchen - new cabinets, bamboo flooring, new appliances (hopefully black) and Corian countertop.
The bathroom will go too. All new everything. It's pretty nasty. It looks great in pictures though which is very frustrating. The water heater is housed in that room (covered by cheap pressboard) and we'd like it to be in the laundry which is just on the other side of the wall. But that will take some plumbing skills we don't have at the moment.
We want to do built in shelving in the loft for the entertainment center and then flank it with lots of bookshelves. It's got angled, low walls where they meet the roof so we can bust out the short walls and use the under-the-eaves space. There's also this really cool half landing type area to the side of the top of the stairs that we want to build storage on.
All this will have to wait until we have the cash. Small things we can do now; like new door knobs and superficial things. But the big stuff, whoa. It'll be awhile.
